EXERCISE BASICS
** Ensure your dog is healthy to begin exercise. Consult your canine health professional before beginning this or any exercise program.
Always check for proper body alignment while performing exercises. Watch to ensure back and neck are neutral. Front limbs and hind limbs should support weight safely. Avoid over extension of limbs, neck, and back.
** Perform an equal number of exercise repetitions on both sides of the body.
** Start slow and build up. 3-5 repetitions is adequate for dogs beginning an exercise program.
** Never over-exercise or over-tire your dog. Always watch for and listen to signs of tiredness or exhaustion.
** We recommend your dog use a safety harness, while exercising on the equipment.
** The Mini K9FITBONE can be used as a stand-alone balance training tool or used with other FitPAWS equipment for a dynamic exercise session.
** To use the K9FITBONE, have your pet stand on the bone with 1-2 paws. Have them shift their weight from front to back or side to side. Inflate or deflate the bone to change the Intensity Level. Use one or both of the K9FITBONES at a time to challenge your pet to balance on more than one surface.

WHICH SIZE OF K9FITBONE SHOULD I GET?
All size pets can use all sizes of the K9FITbones, depending on what exercise you would like them to do. You can use the K9FITBONES with either two or four paws. If you want your pet to use all four paws, be sure to measure the distance between their front and back paws and compare the measure to the different bone sizes. If your pet is too large for a single K9FITBONE, then use two for full body exercises. You can also get multiple sizes of the K9FITBONE and challenge your pet to step and stand of the different sizes with different paws at the same time. The possibilities are endless!
